The most comfortable way to experience a cooking class in Umbria or Tuscany: stay home and we get there! We bring all foods and wines, any necessary tool and you prepare a full Umbrian and Tuscan meal with our guidance. In the end we serve dinner and clean up!
A chef at your villa in Umbria and Tuscany
We arrange private cooking classes delivered directly to your villa at your best convenience. After agreeing with your housekeeper to arrange the class at its best, our professonal and skillful cook along with an English speaking assistant get to your villa and start arranging the kitchen for the cooking class. We deliver all ingredients and all necessary tools that might not be in the equipment of your kitchen.
Then you wear your aprons and you start working at the preparation of the dishes listed in the menu of the day. You can choose your favorite menu.

During the preparation of the dishes you are involved in chopping vegetables with a mezzaluna or streching fresh dough for your home-made tagliatelle or ravioli by means of a rolling pin. The lesson is your chance to learn many of the wise tricks that agrandma-cook knows like no-one else! By chatting with us, you can also learn a lot about our habits and traditions, not only about food!
An unforgettable lunch or dinner in the end of the class
Finally, all the dishes you prepared are served in your dining room or in your garden: a lunch or a dinner together with someexcellent wines from farms of Umbria and Tuscany.
Before leaving, the cook and the assistant will clean up your kitchen completely.

1 Umbrian Menu
Bruschettas: A plate of mixed bruschettas, topped with fresh tomatoes, cheese and sausage or simply extra virgin olive oil. Bruschettas are very common appetizers in all Italy and in Umbrian they are commonly called crostini.
Panzanella: One of the most delicious salads of Umbria, based on bread and fresh vegetables like cucumbers, onion, tomatoes and basil and dressed with extra virgin olive oil and Umbrian vinegar.
Home made Pasta Tagliatelle with ragout sauce:
Ragout sauce is a very tasty topping for every kind of pasta. A base of Umbrian beef and veal meat, tomato puree and vegetables and extra vergin olive.
Roast cicken and potatoes:
A delicious meat dish based on local free range chicken roasted in a base of fresh potatoes, rosmary and extra virgin olive oil, cooked in the owen.
Dessert Torta della Nonna:
A typical cake of Italy is a short pastry based tart with custard stuffing, topped with pine nuts. It is commonly called "the granny's pie".

Rates refer to villas located within 30 minutes from our premises in Orvieto (TR).
If your villa is located between 35 and 90 minutes from our premises, a surcharge of € 70 on the total amount applies.
If your villa is located between 95 and 150 minutes from our premises, a surcharge of € 120 on the total amount applies.
Minimum 4/5 people
A great service if you want to stay home during your holidays in Umbria or Tuscany and you are willing to have great food served by a local cook.
Lunch or Dinner can be prepared any day of the week.
All food is prepared on site, professionally served and kitchen is left clean.

Generally, a wine and cheese tasting is composed of four service.
Tipically, it is racommended to have four varietes of cheese per service.
The selected cheeses should have a pleasant contrast in flavours, textures, colours and forms.
